About Dunross PressDunross Press

For the love of
a well-made book.

We’re an independent press for the step after self-publishing. We bring original stories and enduring classics to print, and help other authors take that next step.

Why We Exist

Amazon KDP is a starting line, not a finish line

Platforms like KDP have made publishing more accessible than ever — but they've also created a ceiling. A book that thrives on Amazon can still be invisible to bookshops, because getting into print distribution properly means navigating IngramSpark's technical templates and wholesaler systems like Gardners, which supply the shops themselves.

Dunross Press was set up to do that work for independent publishers: taking a manuscript that's already proven itself on KDP and preparing it properly for a physical shelf.

Our Focus

  • Independent publishers and self-published authors already active on KDP
  • Cover design and print formatting built to industry specification
  • Distribution through IngramSpark and Gardners.com
  • A long-term route toward bookshop stock, not a one-off print run
Dunross Press — coastal ruin, standing stones and the words Stories That Endure
The story behind the name

A place
stories are kept.

Our mark pairs a coastal ruin with standing stones: things built to last long after the people who made them.

That’s the idea behind Stories That Endure. A carefully made book becomes something to keep, to return to and to pass on.

Dunross Press
How we work

A few things
we believe in.

01

Plain pricing.

A clear setup fee and an explained revenue share. You know what is included before we begin.

02

Your book. Your control.

Your manuscript, your rights, your KDP listing. We add a channel to your publishing, rather than take it over.

03

Care over shortcuts.

Considered covers and carefully prepared interiors. The details matter, because the book matters.

The next chapter

Every book begins
with a conversation.

Tell us about your manuscript. We’ll talk through the possibilities, the process and the right next step.
