Cover Design
Whether you supply your own artwork or want us to design it from scratch, every cover is built for print — full wraparound artwork, correct spine width for your page count, and typography that reads at bookshop-table size, not just thumbnail size.
Media & File Formatting
Your existing KDP files and manuscript are rebuilt to fit IngramSpark's exact templates: trim size, bleed, margins, colour profile and file format — the technical work most self-publishers never see.
Gardners Distribution
Your finished title is set up through IngramSpark and listed on Gardners.com, the UK wholesaler that supplies the majority of independent and chain bookshops — the route into physical stock.

Pricing, plainly
Which setup fee applies to me?
If you already have a cover design or artwork you're happy with, it's £100 — we adapt it to IngramSpark's print specification. If you need us to design your cover from scratch, it's £250. Either way, you pay after we've reviewed your manuscript and confirmed we're a good fit, before work begins.
How is the 10% calculated?
10% of net sales revenue received through IngramSpark/Gardners for that title, reported to you alongside IngramSpark's own sales data. No sale, no fee.
What happens with bookshop returns?
Titles are listed as returnable, since most bookshops expect this before stocking a title. A return reduces that sale's net revenue, and — because our fee is a percentage of net revenue rather than a fixed cut — the impact is shared proportionally the same way a sale is: roughly 90/10, automatically, with no separate charge.
Do I need to leave KDP?
No. This is an additional channel alongside your existing KDP listings, not a replacement for them.
Who owns the files and rights?
You do. Dunross Press prepares the cover and formatted files as a service to you — your manuscript rights remain yours throughout.
What counts as a £50 website update?
Simple content changes — swapping text, an image, or a link. Anything bigger, like a new page or a new feature, is scoped and quoted separately before we start, so there's never a surprise bill.
